Call for papers

We are pleased to announce the call for papers for a special issue of the Design Research for Change book series. Papers are expected to focus on the use of design for emergency management and disaster risk reduction. With an emphasis on increasing disaster risk literacy and local resilience we foresee this issue will stimulate research and debate around methods, evaluation and application of design before, during, and after emergencies.

Abstracts are due May 1, 2021, full papers will be due September 2021, with a view to publishing the book in 2022. To submit your research, please send your title and a 200-300 word abstract to saskia@dnem.org
